I have tried updating and I am sure all of my drivers are up to date.

The compatibility troubleshooter is not helping me either. It does not apply any settings to Rocket League, and it applies Windows 8 mode to Bioshock Infinite. Running either in compatibility mode do not help and I get the same error message.

However, when I looked into the details of the programs in the compatibility troubleshooter, it said it detected that the 'Program is incompatible'.

I don't know how a 32-bit game which works for many others on Windows 8 and 10 can be incompatible for me, but i am still searching for a solution.

Am I missing a Microsoft program that can allow me to run 32 bit games?

EDIT: AFTER LOTS OF TESTING THE ONLY TRUE FIX IS TO REINSTALL WINDOWS 10 VERSION 1607 AND THEN BLOCK THE CREATORS UPDATE. I've been good for months now after blocking it. No more forced updates.

First close rocket league and steam completely.

Go to PC settings, gaming, disable game bar, game dvr, and game mode..

I wrote a simple registry edit file that you can run to disable this even easier if you'd like:

Next go into your rocket league folder:

Right click on RocketLeague.exe and go to Properties, Compatibility, and check the box for disable full screen optimizations and override high dpi and set it to application.

Also if you have a higher end video card go into your config and uncap the FPS..

C:UsersUSERNAMEDocumentsMy GamesRocket LeagueTAGameConfigTASystemSettings.ini

Search for AllowPerFrameSleep and set it to false.

Steamworks Fix Revolt

Then search for OneFrameThreadLag and set it to false if your CPU is powerful enough. (Core i7 or above)

Save and close the .ini file. Right click on it - go to properties and then check the box that says 'read only' so it can't be replaced or changed back by the game after an update.

Turn off 'DiagTrack' service:

Tap on the Windows-key, type services in the search box and hit enter. Locate the service 'Diagnostics Tracking Service' and double-click on it. If you can't find this service then it's already disabled so don't worry about it. Under the startup type menu select disabled. This disables the services' autostart. Click the stop button afterwards to stop the running process. This stops the service for the current session.

Reboot your PC.

Enjoy.

If this doesn't work and you have the latest Nvidia drivers, I've read downgrading them fixes the issue.
