Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix for PSP If you played a lot of kingdom hearts games, this one is not really that different when it comes to combat. It is pretty much the same old school combat and creeps from other games…with a few new things. This is good since its all the same series but they should have use more balancing. Several fights you just have to do the same thing over and over and then you win. Although the fight do get harder and harder as you progress and that is always a plus to any rpg game. One biggest problem is that you barely have to change your tactics but at least all the fight are entertaining so I believe it deserves a high score for the game play.

Gameplay

Birth by Sleep is an action role-playing game with hack and slash elements that introduces a gameplay aspect to the series called the Command System. This system allows players to customize a Command Deck with techniques and abilities that they can perform at will, called Deck Commands. Performing ordinary attacks and Commands fills a gauge displayed above the Command Deck. When certain requirements are fulfilled and the gauge is full, the player’s basic attack is changed to the “Surge” Command, which racks up powerful combos depending on what Command Style is activated. Filling the gauge a second time replaces the “Surge” Command with the more powerful “Storm” Command.
